PLASTIC PELLETS

Multiple Bottles Sample Bottle

We are offering limited quantites of a variety of thermoplastic pellets. You may want to try various plastics to determine the best type of material for your needs. If you plan to

All pellets offered below have been tested with the Model 150A injector.

The pellets are sold by volume and are packaged in a 500 cc (16 oz) bottle.

NOTE: We cannot provide MSDS sheets for these materials and some settling of contents may occur during shipping.

The molding temperatures listed for each material are only recommended starting temperatures. Details about optimizing molding temperatures are included in the operations manual.

POLYPROPYLENE (PP)

FEATURES

Polypropylene is a common thermoplastic resin typically used for injection molding applications. PP offers a good balance of properties and cost, uncommon to most other thermoplastics. PP provides outstanding physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties not found in any other thermoplastic.

  • High Strength
  • High chemical resistance
  • Abrasion resistance
  • Machinable
  • Excellent electrical properties

Brown Polypropylene Pellets

Brown Polypropylene Pellets

Suggested molding temperature is: 400 deg F.

This brown polypropylene (PP) has a melt-flow value of 30 and is very easy to inject.   The mold will need slight pre-heating for best results.   This is a good all-around general purpose material.

POLYETHYLENE (PE)

FEATURES

POLYETHYLENE is widely used for manufacturing various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles, tubing, plastic bags for computer components, and various molded laboratory equipment. It is translucent to opaque, virtually unbreakable, and very flexible.

  • Corrosion-resistant
  • Solvent-resistant
  • High flexibility
  • Lightweight
  • Machinable

Natural Color HDPE Pellets

Natural HDPE Pellets

Suggested molding temperature is: 420 deg F.

POLYETHYLENE (PE) is widely used for manufacturing various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles, tubing, plastic bags for computer components, and various molded laboratory equipment.
HDPE has excellent tensile strength, energy consumption, abrasion resistance, and resistance to stress cracks, and good chemical resistance and electrical properties.
Injection-molded HDPE is resistant to warpage and distortion.
