Spare Barrel Assembly
If you are changing thermoplastic materials often, you can avoid the need to purge the previous material by simply swapping the barrel assembly.
The spare barrel assembly contains the main barrel plus the internal torpedo spreader and the nozzle.
The entire barrel assembly can be swapped by removing the heat shield, loosening the band heater, then removing the C-clip.

PP provides outstanding physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties not found
in any other thermoplastic.
|
- High Strength
- High chemical resistance
- Abrasion resistance
- Machinable
- Excellent electrical properties
|
Brown Polypropylene Pellets

Suggested molding temperature is: 400 deg F.
|
This brown polypropylene (PP) has a melt-flow value of 30 and is very easy to inject.
The mold will need slight pre-heating for best results.
This is a good all-around general purpose material.
|
Black Polypropylene Pellets

Suggested molding temperature is: 420 deg F.
|
This black polypropylene (PP) has a melt-flow value of 30 and is very easy to inject.
The mold will need slight pre-heating for best results.
This is a good all-around general purpose material.
|
Natural Polypropylene Pellets

Suggested molding temperature is: 420 deg F.
|
These are natural (uncolored) polypropylene (PP) pellets.
The molded items will be translucent (not transparent).
This material is fairly easy to inject and the mold will need some pre-heating for best results.
This is a good all-around general purpose material.
|
POLYETHYLENE (PE) |
FEATURES |
POLYETHYLENE is widely used for manufacturing various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles,
tubing, plastic bags for computer components, and various molded laboratory equipment.
